Cagnasso talks about his experience of being a Christian in an Islamic country such as Bangladesh. Muslims are taught that the Bible has been corrupted and that God’s word has been distorted; as a consequence, Christians are either deceivers or deceived. They either don’t feel it necessary to know about Christian religion or are openly hostile to it. Many times we experience a climate of sorrowful injustice: the Church, alongside the several open-minded Muslims, should do their best to have the Church and the poor’s rights respected. To live as Christians in Islamic countries, should encourage a renewed Christian commitment to ecumenism. To read the full article in the original language click here.
